* Responsibilities: Construction of practice field, construction of other team infrastructure, construction/tear-down of pit, maintenance of pit during competition, expert on safety rules, enforces field & pit safety rules, enforces build-season shop safety rules 
* Authority: final decision on practice field implementation, final decision on safety practices and enforcement, final decision on Pit layout, organization, occupancy
* Deputies: 
   * Safety Captain
* Duties: 
   * Study best field/pit practices of winning teams 
   * Develop/document standard field/pit processes and resources 
   * Fall: 
      * Team infrastructure construction, (storage, organization) 
      * Training: safety, shop skills 
   * !Fall/Build: enforce shop/practice safety
   * Build:
      * Rapid construction of training/practice field 
      * Repair of practice field pieces 
      * Pit design, stocking 
      * Work with Operations on pit-bling/marketing
   * Competition: 
      * Pit setup, tear-down, organization, supervision
      * Manage field and pit safety compliance
