| 15 | * Serve as team captain (take full responsibility) for one event (BoB, IRoC, District 1, District 2, District Championship, World Championship). Responsibility means being Tim Lin for that event: |

| 17 | * getting materials and checklists in place |
| 18 | * ensuring forms and payments are received |
| 19 | * training (e.g. charm school) |
| 20 | * soliciting students to take on critical roles for that event and coordinating with/helping them: |
| 21 | * pit lead |
| 22 | * safety lead |
| 23 | * scouting lead |
| 24 | * team spirit lead |
| 25 | * bonding with and supporting other teams |
| 26 | * help each other |
| 27 | * build team morale |
| 28 | * build team infrastructure (e.g. incremental improvements to the event process) |
| 29 | * have other hands-on roles when they are not actively preparing for their event (e.g. participating in fabrication of a mechanism, webmaster, etc.) |
