Field Lead - Roles and Responsibilities

Once the game is revealed, the team immediately starts designing and testing mechanisms to meet the challenge. A practice field is required to test the mechanisms and the Field Lead is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the practice field.

Responsibilities:

• Study best field practices of top teams
• Analyze game rules
• Work with Strategy, Game Leads and Quartermaster to select, specify, and purchase practice field materials
• Coordinate with Technical Leads to sequence field construction with testing needs
• Construction of practice field
• Plan for and manage storage of field pieces
• Work with Safety lead to enforce shop safety rules
